Winter should be in full swing just prior to Valentine’s Day in 2017. Welcome back to newly remapped North Tract, near the hamlet of Vivian in Whitchurch-Stouffville. Easily accessible from the 404, located on Hwy 48 just south of Davis Drive and not far from Newmarket, Ontario.
North Tract was remapped in 2016 by Ihor Palagnyuk, and used for the Turkey Trot. Ideal for winter orienteering, with an extensive trail network and more accessible forest vegetation, the UKR O Cup will venture into the less used northern section of the area, which was (intentionally) not used for the Turkey Trot.
Please come out and enjoy the “North of the North (Tract)”!
Regarding facilities: there are none on site, but a good amount of parking. Please do consider this and the environment, and consider carpooling. Also, some prizes will be awarded, including door prizes, as is traditional at UKR meets.
