Everyone who signed up for the February 16 date for the UKR O-Cup are automatically enrolled to the new event date.  Registration will be opened up again to anyone who whishes to join us!

New date is tentitively Sunday March 9. 

If you are unable to attend this new date, please email us and we will issue a full refund. 

Format will be usual Thomas O cup with a possible addition of a beginners course depending on demand. This is an exciting opportunity to enjoy a brand new map. The map is a work in progress, but will be well suited to this winter style fun event. Please come out and enjoy!”

No facilities so please consider stopping at the nearest gas station close to the 404 and Vivian Road if coming from that direction.

Parking along the roadway so please consider carpooling.

Be sure to register before the weekend of the event as Registration Closes Midnight Friday March 7.

    Take 404 North to Vivian Road (Regional Road 74) and go East.

    Turn South (Right) at McCowan Road.  Forest access point is about 500m south to 16549 McCowan Road.

    The length of this run will depend on a participant’s O-cup handicap. This race will feature the O-Cup Box which consists of a set of 6 to 8 checkpoints which participants may visit in any order. Particpants may skip check points in the box equal to their handicap point total. Handicap points are awarded as follows:

    Handicap of 2: Women in the top 10 of Canadian orienteering rankings

    +2 to above handicap if first O-Cup race ever (ie age 35 female first race = handicap 5)

    +1 to above handicap if first O-Cup series after first race.
